Climate change is one of the biggest challenges we face today. We’re investing in new generation capacity, which will allow us to ensure security and affordability of supply for the UK, whilst tackling the global threat of climate change.

 

Created at the beginning of 2008, E.ON Climate & Renewables is a global business. We’re responsible for the operation and future development of all activities relating to renewable energy within the E.ON group, as well as carbon sourcing and international climate protection projects.

 

As one of the largest renewable energy companies in the world, we’re committed to increasing our installed renewables capacity to around 4GW by 2010. Our extensive capacity already includes onshore and offshore wind, biomass and biogas.

 

We’re taking the lead in developing a range of innovative renewable technologies for a lower carbon future.
